Bass Fishing Derby

The Moxie Festival Bass Derby is returning! On Sunday July 13th, anglers of all ages are invited to fish for their chance at a number of great prizes. Children 15 years of age and younger will register in the youth division, and compete for the grand prize of a LIFETIME FISHING LICENSE donated by Lisbon police Department. A grand prize of $500 CASH will be rewarded to the winner of the adult division (16 years and older). Second and third place prizes are also available for each division.

Contestants will have free reign over the Androscoggin River within Lisbon town lines, and will register their largest fish at one of the designated weigh-in stations in town.  the specified 'Catch, Measure, Release' format.  Anglers can also submit one dead fish.  Fish can be submitted through The top 3 longest fish will win prizes in their division,

Registration can also be completed on the day of the tournament, but will only be accepted in the form of cash. Contestants meet at the Papermill Trail parking lot at 7:30am for a tournament briefing.
